<div itemprop="description">Shannon Marie Rico (nee Broza), <br />Was surrounded by her family when her hard fought struggle with cancer ended on Saturday October 3, 2015. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Jonathan and her children Brenden, Joshua, Hayley and Nicolas. <br /> <br />Shannon was born on November 24, 1972 in Montmartre, Saskatchewan and is survived by her mother Maryann (Brent), her father Edward (Sharon), her siblings: Christine (Trevor), Warren, and Brent Jr. (Laura), her in-laws Jose and Josefina, her sister-in-law Jocelyn (Jess) and her brother-in-law Joseph (Amy). She also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews: Paige, Hannah, Jessica (Allen), Summer, Mackenzie, Alex, Chris, Jordan, Andrew and Noah, and her great-nephew Andre. <br /> <br />Shannon graduated from high school in Armstrong, British Columbia and eventually moved to Redcliff, Alberta where she met Jonathan. Shannon and Jonathan were married on October 8, 2002 and began raising their family in Alberta before relocating to Ottawa, Ontario. <br /> <br />Shannon will always be remembered for her outgoing personality, her love for life, her inner strength and her love and devotion to family.
