Mark Deschamps

Passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Friday September 4, 2015 at the Elizabeth Bruyère Continuing Care Center at the age of 44 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Natalie (née Langlois) of 12 years and his amazing and beautiful children Avery and Brooke. Cherished son of Sharon Croteau (Mike) and Raymond Deschamps. Mark will be sorely missed by Russ and Willa Cuggy; his sister Lee Ann Deschamps-Sudsbury (Jennifer); his father-in-law Danny “Llamer” Langlois (Lynn); his brother-in-law Bob and sister-in-law Joelle Rivington (Brett), and nieces and nephews. Welcomed by his beloved late mother-in-law Patricia.

Anyone who knew Mark knew how he loved to live life. Accordingly, he had a special group of friends, and several special groups with his 'buddies' blossomed. There were many, including life long buddies "Whisker Marines' (est. 1989), the pog 'fly-in-fishing' gang, the 'Tax Office Annual Snowmobile gang'.

Daish loved sports. He was an avid Blues Jays and Ottawa Senators fan. He was also a natural all around athlete... he excelled at hockey, softball, golf, football, water-skiing, tennis, or really anything he tried. A true jock!

Whether it was on a boat or on the ice, he loved to fish and was the best fisherman ever to grace the Bullfrog.

He loved all these people and things. But Mark's true passion was his girls. Nat, Avery and Brooke were the centre of his universe. Watching his girls dance / jump / flip / play soccer - joking with Nat - just being together, made Mark complete. He was a family man, first and foremost.

The family would like to acknowledge the special and above-the-top help during this difficult time from friends including his best bud Kevin and Amber Hurtubise, Nuala and Claudio Dinardo, Lisa and Doug Ryan, Danny Langlois and Lynn McLeod, Bobby Langlois, Leigh Ann and Andrew Thompson and Shara and Sean Martell.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Divine Infant Church 6658 Bilberry Drive, Orleans, on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Ottawa conference and event center, 200 Coventry road. In memoriam donations to the Lung Cancer Canada are appreciated. www.kellyfh.ca
