<div itemprop="description"><br>Edwards, Jeannine Laurette <br> <br>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Jeannine Laurette Edwards (née Lachance) on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, in her 85th year. Jeannine was the youngest of 7 children, to Léopold Lachance and Berthe St. Onge. She is pre-deceased by her husband Eugene, and her son Bryan, and survived by her son Danny (Sally Andrews), Garry (Jacinthe), and her daughter Sandra (Lindsay Rivard). She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Ryan (Shannon), Robyn (Mikel Cook), Christopher (Stephanie), Jody (Dave Clarke), Beth and Shaun (Chrissy), and her 11 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her dearest companion, George Hamelin, and will be dearly remembered by Gregg and Adele Hamelin. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family wishes to thank the healthcare professionals of Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Mass of Christian Funeral on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at Divine Infant Church 6658 Bilberry Drive at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Bruyère Foundation would be appreciated. <br> <br> <br>Edwards, Jeannine Laurette <br> <br>C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de notre mère, grand-mère et arrière-grand-mère, Jeannine Laurette Edwards (née Lachance) survenu le mercredi 11 mai 2016 à l'aube de ses 85 ans. Jeannine était la plus jeune des 7 enfants de Léopold Lachance et de Berthe St-Onge. Elle fut prédécédée de son époux Eugene et son fils Bryan. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses fils Danny (Sally Andrews), Garry (Jacinthe) et sa fille Sandra (Lindsay Rivard) ainsi que ses 6 petits-enfants Ryan (Shannon), Robyn (Mikel Cook), Christopher (Stephanie), Jody (Dave Clarke), Beth et Shaun (Chrissy) et 11 arrières petits-enfants. Prédécédée de son compagnon bien aimé George Hamelin et sera chaleureusement regrettée de Gregg et Adele Hamelin. Lui survivent plusieurs cousin(e)s, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. La famille désire remercier les professionnels du centre de santé Elisabeth-Bruyère pour leurs bons soins et compassions. Messe des funérailles aura lieu le mardi 17 mai 2016 à l’Église Divine Infant 6658 promenade Bilberry à 13h.
