June 18, 2008- February 24, 2017
Martin, Griffin Joshua
Griffin was the treasured son of Damien and Andrea, beloved brother of Rowan, cherished grandson of Lucas and Anita, Louise Martin and Peter and Dianne Martin, cherished nephew of Kim and Ryan (Robyn, Zoey), Dan and Ioanna (Gabriel, Jacob, Grace), Joshua and Ashley, Heidi and Rick, Becky and Craig, Nicholas, Meghan and Chris and Jody (Nathan , Ava). Griffin has numerous other Dalton, Martin, Lambert and Hellemans family members who we know hold him in their hearts.
Griffin was a loving, thoughtful, introspective, creative, quirky and inquisitive child. He was an absolute joy in our lives. Griffin was a homebody. He loved to be at home with his family but also enjoyed playing with his friends. Griffin and his sister were inseparable and quite a team. They often antagonized each other as siblings do, but were always around each other and wanted to be together. Griffin loved to draw and invent games on pieces of paper. He loved playing with Lego and creating things. He had a truly unique point of view in the world and would astonish us with his observations at times. He was extremely detail orientated and took pride in his work. In his short life he was able to travel to some really special places in the world with us: Disney World, Costa Rica, Mexico, Tobermory and the Eastern Townships- although Griffin always used to say home was the best place in the world.
Griffin, our precious prince, we will always remember you and hold you in our hearts. We love you always. “Sir Griffin”
