<div itemprop="description">Dr. Jerry Calver <br /> <br />Passed away after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family on Tuesday June 11, 2013 at the age of 65 years. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Sheila, his cherished children Trina Calver (Scott Hendry) and Daryl (Jennifer). Proud grampa of Nora, Rowan, Peyton and Dawson. He is predeceased by his first wife Brenda Cochrane and his father Gerald Sr. Calver. He is survived by his mother Rose Calver and his siblings Theresa Greenlees (Ted), Pam Dickerson (Bert), Brenda Heisz (George), Sherry Steels (Roger), Joan Roddick (late Brad), Noel (Karen) and many nieces and nephews. Jerry was a gregarious, fun loving man, treasured by many. His community was important to him; he was a life member of the Navan Lions Club and Founding member/President of the Navan Curling Club. Besides his commitment to Navan village, he was passionate about his scientific work at Health Canada in Biologics as well as his teaching at Ottawa University.
