<div itemprop="description">Budzinski, Emil Eugene (Bud) <br>October 21, 1933 – January 20, 2017 <br>Bud passed away peacefully at the age of 83 years, surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved husband of Pat (nee Christie), father of Stephen (Karina), David (Martine), Leah Corrigan (Stephen) and Neil (Linzy) and grandfather of Christie, Tyler, Eli, Sylvie, Sarah, William, Melodie and Evelyn. Bud grew up on a farm in Mundare, Alberta as part of a large Ukrainian family. He is survived by his siblings Mike, Jane and Adam as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Katherine (nee Kozoway) and his siblings Peter, Dominic, John, Pearl, Ann, Lillian, Pauline and Mabel. After receiving a Master’s degree in physics from the University of Alberta in 1956, Bud began his career in Canada’s arctic during the International Geophysical Year (IGY). From there, Bud continued his scientific work in atmospheric and space research at the National Research Council in Ottawa. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Madonna Care Community for their hard work, care and compassion over the past four years.
