Saroufim, Antoinette (nee Salameh)
Peacefully on Thursday November 3, 2016 at the age of 78 years. Loving wife of the late André Saroufim. Beloved mother of Michel, Marc (Shauna Rae) and Micheline. Adoring and devoted Teta (grandmother) of Vivian, Edmund and Maeve, Ottawa. She will be sadly missed by siblings Thérèse, Nadia (Hindieh), Elie and the late Antoine. Also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Antoinette showed her endless love through nourishing each and every person who walked through her door. The tantalizing aromas of her kitchen were never at bay and the love for family, friends and life could be tasted in every dish prepared. From kanafi, to kousa mashi, and everything in between Antoinette’s culinary delights were the kind legends are made from. Antoinette’s playful spirit well matched her husband André. She was always up for a game of cards or a playful song or two with her grandchildren. Antoinette loved to celebrate and make every opportunity an occasion of joy and love. She will be dearly missed.
